Qualifying membership in the MDRT is based on minimum commission and gross business generated within a year, and is not based upon performance or returns experienced by any client, or opinions of the advisor's clients or former clients. Lifetime membership is achieved in the 10th year and this status is maintained in future years by attesting annually to having met current minimum production levels and by paying the required dues.
Achieving Client Excellence Disclosure
The Achieving Client Excellence Award (ACE) was granted by former broker-dealer Signator Investors, Inc. and the John Hancock family of companies. The ACE award is granted to the top 250 advisors each year based on total weighted premium from the sale of both proprietary and non-proprietary protection and wealth products. No other factors are considered.
Millennial Advisor Award
The 2017 Millennial Advisor Award is given by the American College of Financial Services (ACFS) to 10 individuals under the age of 35 who are deemed to have made a significant impact in their profession. The 10 winners were selected by a group of their peers out of 129 candidates. Each winner has consistently demonstrated a high level of commitment, education and integrity according to the ACFS.
Top Women Advisors
The NAPA Top Women Advisors list was created to acknowledge the contributions of a growing number of women who are making significant contributions to the retirement industry, as well as bringing excellence to the profession. Nominees were asked to respond to a series of questions, both quantitative and qualitative, about their experience and practice. Those questionnaires were then reviewed on an anonymous basis by a panel of judges who, over the course of several weeks, selected the women honored in three separate categories: Captains: Allstars who happen to be principals, owners or team captains of their organizations. All-Stars: Top producers who have their own practice. Rising Stars: Top producers who have less than five years of experience with retirement plans as a financial advisor (some have been working with retirement plans longer, but not as a financial advisor). The rating is not indicative of the investment advisor's future performance; and the investment advisor representative was not paid a fee to participate in the survey.
Top Defined Contribution Team
The 2020 Top Defined Contribution Team is a ranking given by The National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA) an affiliate of The American Retirement Association. The ranking is awarded at the discretion of NAPA. It is based upon quantitative results achieved by the Financial Professional related to assets under advisement goals established by NAPA. Third-party rankings and recognitions are no guarantee of future investment success and do not ensure that a client or prospective client will experience a higher level of performance or results. These ratings should not be construed as an endorsement of the advisor by any client nor are they representative of any one client’s evaluation.
